...I have been doing hairdressing for over 25 years. I started my career with hairdressing in a salon based in Sudbury when I was 14, working Saturdays and holidays. After leaving school, I started an apprenticeship and qualified 2 years later, for which I stayed on for a further year to complete my Level 3. I then worked up to the stage of owning my own salon and in 2001 - I became the owner of a salon in Shrub End. After 7 years of owning, I felt that I wasn’t able to spend as much time with my daughter, so this meant the hard decision and the time had come to sell up... After selling, I wanted to continue my loyalty to my clients by proving a mobile service which I have committed to doing for around 10 years.

Now my next chapter in life has been joining the Amour Hair and Beauty team, to which it has completely changed my way forward in Hairdressing. I have now completed a Nano Hair Extension course, a Bridal Make Up course as well as a Make Up course - which adds to the list of qualifications and services that I can provide to clients. To top it off the salon has been selected as a 2021 finalist In ‘best bridal salon’ for which we are over the moon for achieving. My life in hair and make up continues...
